In the beginning, there was the radiator, a functional object to heat our homes in the winter. Then came IRSAP, a company that successfully combined comfort, design, and quality, focusing on producing radiators that were not only technically efficient but could also harmoniously integrate into domestic environments, and on enhancing them with modern and original aesthetic solutions.
Founded in the 1960s, the company is now recognized as one of the leading manufacturers of designer radiators and heated towel rails, a true symbol of Made in Italy air conditioning.
Revolutionizing the concept of heating
IRSAP was founded in 1963 in Arquà Polesine, in the province of Rovigo, by Orazio Rossi and Livio Zen. The adventure began with the production of pressed steel radiators. At a time when the heating market was dominated by purely functional and unattractive products, the company stood out for its choice of quality materials, attention to detail, and constant focus on the most advanced technologies, anticipating what would become the distinctive style of Made in Italy products: functionality, aesthetics, and reliability.

In 1967, IRSAP launched TESI, the first tubular steel radiator produced in Italy, marking a turning point for the sector.
The birth of Termoarredatori®: decorating with heat
In the early 1980s, the company made a strategic choice that set it apart on the international scene: the radiator was transformed from a simple functional element into a furnishing accessory. Thus was born Novo, the first Termoarredatore® Made in Italy: a bathroom towel radiator that, thanks to its shapes, colors, and functions, became an integral part of the decor, warming spaces with a distinctive style. The radiator emerged into the spotlight and became the protagonist, a striking element that contributed to the visual identity of the rooms.

Consolidation and internationalization
Over the decades, IRSAP has continued to evolve, expanding its product range with increasingly customizable, elegant, and high-performance solutions. Its strong focus on Made in Italy quality – meant as attention to detail, production technology, and process control – has become a distinctive feature of the brand.

The combination of design and technical performance has enabled the company to grow beyond national borders, establishing itself in European and international markets. Today, IRSAP exports to over 60 countries, with production facilities in Italy and sales offices in France, Spain, Germany, and the United Kingdom.
Iconic products and customization
In addition to Tesi and Novo, IRSAP’s most celebrated collections include Step, designed by Antonio Citterio, and Quadré, which have become icons of style and functionality in the homes of thousands of people. The company’s ability to combine Italian industrial tradition with innovative technologies has enabled it to offer customizable solutions that satisfy the needs of customers, architects, and designers worldwide. Each radiator can be created in numerous colors, shapes, and sizes, offering unprecedented design freedom.

Constant innovation: design, functionality and sustainability
IRSAP doesn’t just produce beautiful designer radiators: it continually invests in technology and development to ensure energy efficiency, safety, and living comfort. The company’s products are designed to meet a variety of needs – from traditional heating to electric or hybrid solutions – while maintaining high-quality standards and offering advanced technical solutions that integrate seamlessly with the living space without sacrificing aesthetic customization.
IRSAP’s innovative spirit is combined with a strong focus on sustainability: the company is committed to reducing its environmental impact by optimizing production processes, using recyclable materials, and designing energy-efficient radiators.
